Upon viewing the movie “Singles”
This weekend I watched the movie Singles, directed by Cameron Crowe and starring Matt Dilion, Kyra Sedgwick, and 1992.
Singles is set in Seattle. Like you couldn’t tell.
These are the occupations of the main characters:
- director of an environmental non-profit
- barista
- Department of Transportation project manager
- band frontman/flower deliverer
If you add “engineer” that list encompasses every occupation in Seattle.
This movie is hilarious for so many reasons, and if you can’t afford the plane ticket out to visit me, I suggest you spend 99 minutes watching twenty-somethings be neurotic in silly hats. Seattle hasn’t changed that much.
Also, Tim Burton cameos for some reason.
